Everything else, answered.
What counts as an Ask ROS write action?+
Anything ROS does that changes your data: drafting a new initiative, scoring a roadmap with RICE, writing a status report, linking feedback to a row, scheduling a launch. Reads — asking ROS questions, getting summaries, exploring your roadmap — are unlimited on every plan. Only writes count toward your monthly credit.
What if I run out of credits on Basic?+
ROS will keep answering questions (reads are always free). Writes will be paused until your next monthly reset, or you can upgrade to Pro any time for 500 write actions a month and the option to bring your own API key for unlimited use.
What's the difference between Basic, Pro, and Business?+
Basic ($25/mo) gives you the full toolkit with 5 ROS write actions a month — perfect for trying the agent. Pro ($49/user/mo) is for PMs who live in the agent: 500 writes, team sharing, integrations, and BYO API key when you outgrow the cap. Business (custom pricing, 5-seat min) adds pooled team credits, SSO, audit log, custom caps and portfolio rollup.
Can I bring my own API key on Basic?+
Pro and Business plans support bring-your-own key for OpenAI, Anthropic, or Gemini — every ROS action then runs on your own quota with no monthly cap. Basic uses the included credits only, to keep the entry price low.
Can I switch plans later?+
Yes. Upgrade or downgrade at any time. Prorated billing means you only pay for what you use.
I'm an existing Solo / Team subscriber — what happens?+
Existing subscribers keep their grandfathered pricing for 12 months. Your ROS credit allowance is upgraded automatically: existing Solo plans get 5 writes/month (Basic), existing Team plans get 500 writes/month (Pro).
Is annual billing available?+
Yes — save 20% on any plan with annual billing. We invoice manually today; contact us at [email protected] to switch and we'll set you up the same day.
Where is my data stored?+
Locally on your machine first (offline-first). Cloud sync to your Supabase-backed account is optional and runs in the background.
Mac or Linux?+
Windows installer is live today. macOS and Linux builds are next on the roadmap, and the browser version works on every platform now.
